Homage to the Autumnal Equinox
“She sits for a moment basked in the luminosity of the cracks of sun that creep into her cave, expanding and growing as each moment passes, conscious that her heart yearns for balance and harmony so she may find healing and divination of her inner world.
The embrace of the sun during these moments of tranquility, before the light infused her body, give a moment to delicately position herself to seek and accept the gifts this autumnal equinox gives.
A time where day and night are in equal proportion; where our inner and outer world connection yearn to feel the equilibrium in every position and posture we make; to breathe 🧘🏻♀️ in equal proportions so we may release the old and invite the new. “
As we take a moment during this equinox time, let us remember the significance it brought to our forefathers and ancestors. A time to reevaluate and adapt to the encroaching change in environment so they could best serve, feed and engage with their community whilst ensuring they also listened and respected their own path.
As the earth tilted to beckon less light in the northern hemisphere, and more light in the south; these gave rise to necessary changes in daily habits and community engagement. New resources and methods to find food, to nurture their young and seek shelter from the heat or cold
During this transition into Libra ♎️ we too are invited to take stock of how we wish to commune with ourself and others in the coming months. To breathe and pause so we may initiate ideas to best serve our conscious next steps personally and collectively.
